Feb 12 Strike: Massive Show of Unity, Strength by Working People!
Central trade unions, farmers' organisations, and farm labour unions have described the nationwide general strike on February 12, 2026, as “historic”, with millions of workers, farmers, and agricultural labourers taking to the streets. The mainstream media blackout of the massive show of strength of unity failed to deter the anger of working people against the government’s anti-labour and anti-farmer policies, such as the labour codes, repeal of MGNREGA, the Indo-US trade deal, among others.
