Delhi: Implement UGC Equity Rules 2026!
A massive protest was held at Delhi University on Tuesday, against the stay imposed by the Supreme Court on the UGC Equity Regulations 2026, which were brought against caste discrimination in higher education institutions.
Students associated with various student organsations participated in the protest and demanded that a strict, clear and effective law be enacted on the lines of the Rohith Vemula Act to end caste discrimination prevalent in universities and higher educational institutions.
