There are Many Supertechs, Says CAG; Officials Responsible Must be Punished
The report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India on how to prevent real estate scandals in the National Capital Region, should be acted upon urgently in the wake of the demolition of the Supertech towers in Noida on August 29. Government officials and corrupt builders who collude with each other should both be charged and prosecuted, says Rajiva Bhushan Sinha, who retired as Director General (Direct Taxes) in the office of the CAG and who also served as member, Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) in an exclusive interview with NewsClick.
*The interviewer wrongly mentions date of demolition as 9th August.
