Sao Paulo Witnesses Massive Demonstrations Against Public Transport Fare Hikes
The mayor of Sao Paulo, Brazil, declared a hike in the fares of buses and subway by 7.5% in December. 
      
      This decision was enforced this month and has been met with widespread protests and anger. It is yet another example of the newly elected far-right president Jair Bolsonaro’s anti-people policies.
