Police State Expands: 20% of Prisoners are Muslims, 73% are SC and OBC
The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked the government to frame new bail laws saying that India should not be a police state. It remains to be seen what the government will do with this observation by the court. But what is more important than framing a new law is changing the attitude of those in power and officials.
