Left Groups Protest Workers' Repression in North India
Left groups held strong protests in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar in support of the workers' movement and against police repression in North India.
Left parties held a joint protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against the labour movement and police action in Noida. Hundreds of workers and union activists participated in the protest, led by CPI(M), CPI, CPI(ML), RSP, Forward Bloc, and CGPI.
The protesters targeted the government over minimum wage disparity, labour law violations, as well as arrests, demanding an immediate halt to the repressive action. Watch Newsclick's ground report.
