Is India Undoing its Foreign Policy? Asks N Ram

Senior journalist N. Ram, former Editor-in-Chief of The Hindu, and a leading voice on international affairs, delivered a sharp and thought-provoking speech at a seminar titled “Imperialist Aggression & Its Impact” held at Harkishen Singh Surjeet Bhawan, New Delhi, on March 29, 2026. Organised under the banner of the Coalition Against Imperialism, the event brought together activists, academics, diplomats, and a large number of youth to discuss rising global conflicts, especially in West Asia. In his address, Ram strongly criticised US–Israel military actions, calling them violations of international law, and questioned India’s shifting foreign policy stance.
