Delhi Rural: ‘Scrap Toll by Sept 20, Or Face Traffic Blockade’
A recent Mahapanchayat held against the Mundka-Bakarwala toll plaza of UER-2, under the leadership of 360 villages of Delhi and Palam-360 Khap, called for withdrawal of toll by September 20. The villagers also said that the compensation received for land acquisition was very low, and they now have to pay toll on the same road every day. The Mahapanchayat declared that if the government did not remove the toll by September 20, they would intensify their agitation. Watch Newsclick's report.
